Know what's
recovered.
Daily scores for push, pull and legs from your sleep, heart rate and sets.

What goes
into a score.
Most apps do one of two things: a heat map from the sets you logged, or a readiness score from your watch. GainsWithAI uses both. Your sets decide which muscle group is tired. Your sleep and heart rate move every group up or down.
- Your training. Every hard set from the last 7 days counts against its group, push, pull or legs, and fades as the days pass.
- Sleep, HRV and resting heart rate. Read from Apple Health or Health Connect and compared with your own 28-day baseline, once there is a week of data.
- Three clear states. Ready from 70%, recovering from 40%, fatigued below that. A tired group also shows the day it should be ready again.
- No watch needed. Without health data, scores come from your logged training alone.
Today picks
what's ready.
The Today screen suggests a session for the groups that have recovered.
Legs need another day. Push is fully ready.
Train when
you're recovered.
No fixed days. Each group comes back when it has recovered.
Push is ready again. Pull needs about one more day.
Questions
Can Apple Watch track recovery?
Apple Watch records sleep, HRV and resting heart rate and saves them to Apple Health. GainsWithAI reads those daily values and combines them with the sets you logged, so the score reflects both your body and your training.
Do I need a wearable to track recovery?
No. Without a watch or other health data, GainsWithAI scores each group from your logged training. With Apple Health or Health Connect, it also uses your sleep, HRV and resting heart rate.
What is the difference between muscle recovery and readiness?
Muscle recovery is about the muscles you trained: a group that took many hard sets yesterday needs time. Readiness is about your whole body: sleep and heart rate. GainsWithAI shows one score per group that includes both.
Should I train if my recovery score is low?
A low score means a group took a lot of hard sets recently, or your sleep and heart rate are off your usual. GainsWithAI suggests a group that is ready instead. It is a training guide, not medical advice: if you feel unwell, rest.
Is recovery tracking free?
Recovery scores are part of GainsWithAI Pro: $49.99 a year with a 14-day free trial, or $6.99 a week. Logging and your history are free.
